The meadows of our farm, De Nije Mieden, are located in the heart of Friesland.

 

No fertilizer and chemicals are used here. Pure nature, so it may seem to some. But it isn’t. Without drainage these lush fields would be water because we are under sea level. In addition, without grazing cows and mowing every now and then these meadows would quickly turn into forest.
